What is happening to CZ and should we care?

They are coming for CZ. He may very well be "going away" for his lengthy list of financial crimes. This is no surprise to any crypto investor, follower, or even newb. For about a decade, CZ has been accused of everything from money laundering to murder. As us smart crypto investors continued to wait and wait for Binance to turn into Mount Gox, BNB Coin continued to go up. Egg on the face to all you haters who missed out. This only frustrated his haters further. So the story is interesting for several reason.

1. One of the biggest names in crypto may go to prison. This could mean crypto prices could dip as they have historically dipped due to negative news.

2. You have all the CZ haters who missed out on life changing gains now enjoying the negative news wishing him the worst. 3. Many are hoping we get some justice and/or closure to the never-ending scandals that have plague Binance and smeared the crytpo markets as a whole.

Should I take my money out of Binance?

Yep. If you can, get it out of there ASAP. It is never a good idea to have your money in any exchange. Regardless of what happens to Binance or CZ, never leave your money in a centralized exchange.
